Due to his lack of understanding of others and the world, he created a false front that he projected out to the world after childhood, acting as a loner who preferred to sit on the sidelines and observe while he studied others and their interactions, ironically committing the same type of deception that he himself loathed. Thus, he lusted to kill those around him. Eventually, Yuuya became obsessed with this idea, and became convinced that only death would reveal a person's true side. Many of his feelings of disdain for others stem from his cynical perception of truth, firmly believing that everyone else was hiding behind a mask, preventing him from seeing their 'true' personality, and effectively lying to him, something he took great offense to.
Violent from childhood, his acts ranged from trying to beat a student to death in elementary school to mutilating animals. Underneath this façade, however, Yuuya is a sociopath in the truest sense, withholding no understanding or comprehension of morality, affection, social interaction, or the value of life. He initially appears to be a protective and strong ally, as well as sophisticated and classy with his Japanese pronouns, language, and manners, though occasionally coming across as somewhat blunt and apathetic. Yuuya is a mysterious character at first, indicating nothing of his true personality. His shirt is untucked, his blazer is unbuttoned but worn normally, and he wears a black shirt underneath his normal one. The live action version of Yuuya has a somewhat different appearance. He also gains red irises multiple times throughout the game. When he is possessed by the Book of Eibon, he gains red irises and a black tattoo-like marking on the left side of his face. In Corpse Party: Sweet Sachiko's Hysteric Birthday Bash, he briefly wears the Kisaragi Academy male uniform, wearing it a similar style to his usual one. In both Corpse Party, and Tortured Souls, he is seen with a sheet over his head. His pants have been hacked off at the knees, and he still has his belt. His eyes are completely red, similar to Yoshikazu Yanagihori, though in Corpse Party: Tortured Souls they remain normal. The younger version of himself wears a grey vest with the word "D-cross" on it, with a logo underneath that, and grey shorts.Īs the Anatomical Model, the entire left side of his body has been skinned, exposing his muscles. He also has a silver chain looped onto his pants, and a belt with a silver buckle. However, he keeps his blazer on his right shoulder, and he has his shirt partly unbuttoned and untucked with his sleeves rolled up. He wears the standard Byakudan Senior High School uniform. Yuuya is a teenage boy of above average height and build. He is the younger brother of Kouki Kizami and Haruna Kizami. He is a student of Byakudan Senior High School's classroom 2-4 and a victim of Heavenly Host Elementary School.
